What’s the difference between the S200 and the D200 Models?
Both models have the same level of physical security, data security and encryption etc… The S200 uses SLC (Single Level Cell) memory and the D200 uses MLC (Multi Level Cell) memory. SLC memory, in comparison to MLC memory, is faster, longer lasting and more expensive. The Ironkey S200 models are the only flash drives in the World to use SLC memory.
